COLORADO, CO. (THECOUNT) — Tyler Boebert, 21, the adult son of U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert, has been arrested in Colorado on multiple felony charges involving the alleged sexual exploitation of a child, according to court records and multiple reports.
Court records list the alleged offense date as Jan. 1, 2024. Tyler faces three counts of sexual exploitation of a child, including allegations involving inducement or enticement, possession with intent, and video. He also faces two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Tyler was arrested Sunday and reportedly posted a $10,000 bond before being released the same day. His next court appearance is scheduled for Aug. 19.
Rep. Boebert addressed her son’s latest legal troubles in a statement, saying: “I love my son. We take these allegations very seriously and pray for everyone affected during this challenging time.”
The new charges follow previous legal problems involving Tyler and his young son. In February, Tyler was cited for misdemeanor child abuse without injury after his 2-year-old son reportedly wandered out of Rep. Boebert’s Colorado home while Tyler was responsible for watching him.
That incident marked the second time in less than a year Tyler had faced a similar child-related charge. Rep. Boebert said at the time there was “no excuse” for the incident and that she was “very frustrated.”
Tyler became a father in June 2023. His criminal history also includes a 2024 case involving 22 counts related to vehicle break-ins and property theft, including multiple felony charges.
Tyler later pleaded guilty to attempted identity theft as part of a plea agreement. Other charges were dropped, and he was placed on probation.
The current sexual exploitation allegations remain pending. An arrest or criminal charge is not a finding of guilt, and Tyler is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
