WILKINSBURG, PA. (THECOUNT)Lamont Dunlap, 41, and Lamara Baldwin, 31, were found dead Monday inside a Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, residence where two young girls, ages 3 and 1, were also located alive, according to authorities. Investigators believe the pair may have been deceased since Friday.

Officers with the Wilkinsburg Police Department responded Monday to a residence on 1100 block of Franklin Avenue following a report of two deceased individuals inside the home. Upon entering, first responders discovered the bodies of Dunlap and Baldwin.

Authorities said there were no obvious signs of trauma to either adult.

In addition to the two adults, officers located two young girls, ages 3 and 1, inside the residence. The children were transported to a local hospital for evaluation before being released into the custody of Allegheny County Children, Youth and Families.

Officials have not released information regarding the condition of the children or how they survived during the period investigators believe the adults were deceased.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office is working to determine the cause and manner of death for both Dunlap and Baldwin. Authorities have not announced whether foul play is suspected.

Wilkinsburg is a borough in Allegheny County in western Pennsylvania, just east of downtown Pittsburgh.

The investigation remains active as detectives continue gathering evidence and await the results of autopsies and toxicology testing.
