Bennett began her professional music career at age 18. In 2007, she formed the girl group Paradiso Girls alongside several other singers. The group released their debut single “Patron Tequila” in 2009.

In 2010, Bennett launched a solo career. She worked with artists including CeeLo Green and will.i.am. Her profile rose significantly in 2011 after appearing on LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem,” which reached number one on charts worldwide and became one of the biggest songs of that year.

Bennett later joined the girl group G.R.L. The group released several songs, including “Vacation” and “Lighthouse.” During the group’s early success, her bandmate Simone Battle died by suicide in 2014. G.R.L. disbanded in 2015.

After the group ended, Bennett released her solo song “Hurricane.” She stated that the track was influenced by mental health struggles she witnessed her mother and a friend experience.

Bennett was born in the United Kingdom and later moved to the United States to pursue her music career. She gained recognition through her work in both group and solo projects across multiple years in the music industry.

Her contributions to “Party Rock Anthem” brought her international attention. The song’s success helped establish her as a recognizable voice in mainstream pop music during the early 2010s.

Following the disbandment of G.R.L., Bennett continued releasing music independently. Her work often reflected personal experiences and themes she felt connected to throughout her life.

Details surrounding the circumstances of her death have not been publicly released. No official cause of death has been confirmed at this time.

Bennett’s former bandmates and those who worked with her have expressed grief over her passing. Her career spanned more than 15 years in the music industry.
