DOVER, DE. (THECOUNT) — Emmanuel Farmer, 22, of Clayton, Delaware, died Monday night after a motorcycle collided with a Jeep Wrangler at an intersection along North DuPont Highway in Dover, according to police.
The fatal crash occurred around 8 p.m. Monday near Lepore Drive and North DuPont Highway.

According to Dover Police Department investigators, a Jeep Wrangler was attempting to make a left turn onto Lepore Drive from North DuPont Highway while facing a flashing red arrow.
Police said the Jeep entered the path of a southbound Yamaha R1 motorcycle operated by Farmer.
The motorcycle subsequently struck the passenger side of the Jeep.
Officers arriving at the scene found Farmer suffering from severe injuries following the collision.
Emergency personnel transported Farmer to a nearby hospital, where he later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
Authorities have not publicly identified the driver of the Jeep Wrangler.
Dover police said investigators currently believe Farmer was traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the collision.
Officials added it remains unknown whether impairment was a contributing factor in the crash.
No charges had been filed as of Tuesday as investigators continued reviewing evidence from the scene.
The intersection near Lepore Drive remained partially impacted Monday evening while police documented the crash and removed the heavily damaged motorcycle.
North DuPont Highway is a heavily traveled commercial corridor running through Dover and central Delaware.
The Dover Police Department investigation remains ongoing.
