PALMYRA TWP., PA. (THECOUNT) — Ryan Johnson, 28, of Wayne County, Pennsylvania, was killed Sunday night in a motorcycle crash in Pike County, according to state police.
The fatal collision occurred along Route 507 in Palmyra Township, located in northeastern Pennsylvania near the Pocono Mountains region.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, Johnson was operating a motorcycle on Route 507 when the crash occurred.
Investigators said an SUV was merging onto Route 507 from Route 390 at the time of the collision.
Authorities stated Johnson’s motorcycle struck the rear of the SUV.
Johnson sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead.
