KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (THECOUNT) — Reese Autumn Player, of Bishopville, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle rollover crash early Tuesday morning near Camden, according to the Kershaw County Coroner’s Office. Player was 22.
The deadly crash occurred at approximately 2:36 a.m. Tuesday along Bishopville Highway near Favor Road east of Camden.

Kershaw County Coroner David West confirmed Player died at the scene as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
According to authorities, emergency responders were alerted to the incident after a 911 call was generated by an iPhone crash detection notification in the area.
First responders subsequently located the crash scene along Bishopville Highway and discovered a heavily damaged 2003 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck.
Officials said Player was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
No other vehicles were reported involved in the crash.
According to the preliminary investigation, the Chevrolet pickup was traveling eastbound on Bishopville Highway when the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle.
Authorities said the truck subsequently overturned multiple times.
Player was ejected during the crash sequence, investigators confirmed.
She sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials have not publicly stated whether Player was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The collision occurred along Bishopville Highway near Favor Road in eastern Kershaw County, an area located between Camden and Bishopville in central South Carolina.
Emergency personnel remained at the scene Tuesday morning while investigators documented evidence, examined the overturned pickup truck, and coordinated roadway operations in the area.
Traffic near the crash scene was impacted for a period of time during the on-scene investigation.
Authorities have not publicly released additional details regarding the sequence of events immediately preceding the crash.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the fatal rollover collision.
