Williams sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash. Emergency personnel with the Midland Fire Department and EMS responded to the scene and transported him to Midland Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Despite life-saving efforts, Williams later succumbed to injuries sustained in the collision and was pronounced dead at the hospital, officials said.
