CHARLOTTE, NC. (THECOUNT) — Parker Alan Kvasnicka, 19, has been identified as the motorcyclist who tragically lost his life in a crash on Tyvola Road in south Charlotte. Authorities say the fatal accident occurred around 6 p.m. on Sunday.
According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Kvasnicka was operating a silver 2025 Triumph Daytona 660 motorcycle when he collided with a car making a left turn onto Tyvola Road.
The force of the impact ejected Kvasnicka from his motorcycle, resulting in fatal injuries.
Emergency responders pronounced Kvasnicka dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The vehicle involved in the crash was occupied by three individuals who sustained minor injuries. They were treated at the scene and did not require hospitalization.
No charges have been filed against the driver of the car, and investigators are working to determine if any additional factors contributed to the collision.
Tyvola Road, a major thoroughfare in south Charlotte, was temporarily closed following the crash to allow police to conduct a thorough investigation.
The tragic incident has left the Charlotte community in mourning.
