JACKSON COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Bobby Joe Stewart, of Blythewood, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Sunday vehicle crash in Jackson County, Alabama.
Stewart, 64, was killed in a two-vehicle crash that injured four others near Gurley early Sunday morning.

According to reports, Stewart was operating a Toyota Corolla, when the vehicle crossed centerlines and came into head-on contact with a Ford F-150 pickup truck, operated by Arcelio Diaz, 32, of Huntsville, on US-72 near Gurley around 4 a.m. Sunday.
Four passengers were transported to area hospitals in unknown condition. A 15-year-old was among the injured passengers in Diaz’s truck.
Stewart, who had ties to Tennessee, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
