MONTGOMERY COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Marcia Lasinski, of Wetumpka, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday fatal vehicle crash in Montgomery County.
Lasinski, 54, who had ties to Cato, New York, was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Ramer early Saturday morning.
According to reports, Lasinski was operating a Honda Accord on AL-331 near Mile Marker 85 near Ramer, when the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 1 a.m. Saturday. The vehicle then came into contact with a Dodge Ram pick up truck, operated by Solomon L. Smith III, 39, of Wetumpka.
Lasinski was pronounced dead at the scene of injuries suffered in the crash.
It is unclear if Smith suffered any injuries.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
