BOTETOURT COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — David Charles Scott, of Vinton, Virginia, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday night fatal motorcycle crash in Botetourt County.
Scott, 46, was killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash in Troutville Sunday night.
According to reports, Scott was operating a Yamaha Road Star motorcycle on Route 670 near Route 11 in Troutville, when the bike came into contact with a Honda Accord performing a left hand turn around 10:30 p.m. Sunday.
Scott was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Honda was not injured.
It is unclear if anyone was cited at the scene.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
