ST. MARTINVILLE PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Luke Robert Ragas, of Port Barre, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Friday night motorcycle crash in St. Martinville Parish.
Ragas, 23, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Henderson Friday night.

According to reports, Ragas was operating a motorcycle on the 1000 block of Henderson Levee Road near Main Street in Henderson, when for unknown reasons, the bike exited the roadway around 6:30 p.m. Friday. The bike then came into contact with a guardrail.
Ragas was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
