JACKSON COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Krystle Brown and Zeraieh Bland, have been identified as the Missouri women killed in a Thursday morning vehicle collision in Jackson County.
Brown, 35, and 18-year-old “Erika” Bland, were both killed in a two-vehicle crash in Kansas City Thursday morning.
According to reports, Brown and Bland were traveling in a Honda Accord on Blue Ridge Boulevard, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed conterlines and into opposing lanes around 8 a.m. Thursday. The vehicle then came into contact with a Dodge Charger.
Both occupants of the Honda, mother and daughter, were killed in the wreck.
No injuries were reported for the 21-year-old male driver of the Charger.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
