SAN SABA COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Jo Lei Henniger, of San Saba, Texas, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday apparent murder-suicide in San Saba County. Her husband, Ben Henniger, has been identified as the deceased shooter.
Jo Lei, 40, was fatally shot by her 45-year-old husband Wednesday afternoon at a San Saba residence. Tragically, a juvenile witnessed the shooting, according to officials.

According to reports, the shooting occurred around 3 p.m. in the 1200 block of Wallace Street/ US Highway 190.
Police say Ben Henniger shot his wife during an argument before turning the gun on himself.
The involved juvenile was not physically injured during the incident.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
