MORGAN COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Jacob Albin Martinez, of Versailles, Missouri, has been identified as the victim in a Friday night fatal motorcycle crash in Morgan County.
Martinez, 33, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash near Versailles late Friday night.
According to reports, Martinez was operating a motorcycle on Highway W near Versailles, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 11:30 p.m. Friday. The bike then came into contact with a sign.
Martinez was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation.
