NEW HAVEN COUNTY, CT. (THECOUNT) — Gracielly Urbaez, of New Haven, Connecticut, has been identified as the victim in a Friday night fatal motorcycle crash in New Haven County.

Urbaez, 38, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in New Haven Friday night.

According to reports, Urbaez was operating an Acura TL on Interstate 95/ Quinnipiac Bridge near Exit 50, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 7 p.m. Friday. The vehicle then came into contact with a concrete barrier.

Urbaez, the owner of Gracielly’s Hair Salon, was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries suffered in the wreck.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
