COLUMBUS, OH. (THECOUNT) — Rayshawn McFolley Jr., of Columbus, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a Monday fatal vehicle crash in Franklin County.
McFolley, 22, died Tuesday following a single-vehicle crash in east Columbus early Monday morning.
According to reports, McFolley and another man were traveling in a Ford Fusion on McNaughten Road near Little Brook Way, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 2 a.m. Monday. The vehicle then went airborne, jumped a creek and rolled over.
Both men were ejected from the vehicle during the wreck and were transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
McFolley died of blunt force trauma injuries suffered in the crash Tuesday morning.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
