SCURRY COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Julian Garcia, of Snyder, Texas, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday night fatal vehicle crash in Scurry County, Texas.
Garcia, 18, died early Thursday morning and 27-year-old Adrian Aguilar, of Snyder, was injured, in a single-vehicle crash near Snyder Wednesday night.
According to reports, Aguilar was operating a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck on North College Avenue in Snyder, when the vehicle hydroplaned before coming into contact with a metal pole and a fence.
Garcia was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Aguilar suffered unknown injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
