CUMBERLAND COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — Luis A. Pizarro Jr., of Fayetteville, North Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a Monday night fatal motorcycle crash in Cumberland County.
Pizarro, 34, was killed in a multi-vehicle motorcycle crash in Fayetteville Monday night.
According to reports, Pizarro was operating a motorcycle on South Reilly Road in Fayetteville, when the bike came into contact with a Nissan Rogue around 7:15 p.m. Monday. After being ejected from the bike during the wreck, Pizarro was struck by a third involved vehicle while laying in the roadway.
Pizarro was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The Nissan driver was transported to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
