SANGAMON COUNTY, IL. (THECOUNT) — Camron Scott Yates, of Springfield, Illinois, has been identified as the victim in a Friday fatal vehicle crash in Sangamon County.
Yates, 42, was killed in a vehicle crash in Springfield Friday morning.

According to reports, Yates was traveling in a vehicle on East Lake Shore Drive near his recording studio, when for undisclosed reasons, the vehicle wrecked Friday morning.
Yates was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
