KENYA. (THECOUNT) — TikTok star “Baba Mona,” has been identified as one of four people killed in a Friday night vehicle crash in Kericho County, Kenya.
Baba Mona, whose real name is May Kevin Oselu, along with his young daughter and two sisters, were killed in a single-vehicle crash in Fort Ternan Friday night.
According to reports, the family was traveling in a vehicle along Londiani-Muhoroni road near the Fort Ternan trading centre, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway Friday night. The vehicle then came into contact with a pillar before entering a ditch.
Oselu, his young daughter and two sisters, were pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
“babamona2” on TikTok, the popular Ticktocker amassed over 220,000 followers at the time of his death. His videos regularly garnered thousands upon thousands of views and likes.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
