WASHINGTON COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Jeromy Seevers, of Newport, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday fatal vehicle crash in Washington County.
Seevers, 47, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Newport Township Sunday morning.
According to reports, Seevers was operating a Jeep Wrangler on Sandhill Road near Kennon Lane in Marietta, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 5:30 a.m. Sunday. The vehicle then entered a culvert and rolled over.
Seevers was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries suffered in the wreck.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
