DUVAL COUNTY, FL. (THECOUNT) — JaDarrius Jones has been identified as the suspect in a triple-fatal shooting Sunday afternoon in Duval County.

Jones, 18, was arrested in connection to a triple-homicide on Sunday in Jacksonville. Jones is charged with three counts of murder, armed robbery and auto theft.

According to reports, police responded to a call of shots fired on Bridges Road near Dunn Avenue in the Copper Hill area around 12:30 pm Sunday. When they arrived, officers discovered a man dead outside of a home. After gaining access to the home, a woman and man were also found dead. All three died of apparent gunshot wounds.

Officers say they observed Jones attempting to flee the scene and a foot pursuit ensued. Jones was eventually taken into custody.

The victims were not identified as of Monday morning.
