SHASTA COUNTY, CA. (THECOUNT) — Erik Munro, of Redding, California, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday morning house fire in Shasta County.
Monro, 38, was killed in a Redding house fire early Thursday morning.
According to reports, firefighters responded to a structure fire in the 3700 block of Apollo Street around 3:30 a.m. Thursday. When they arrived, a garage area was found full engulfed in flames.
After the fire was extinguished, Monro, the sole occupant of the dwelling, was found deceased.
A pickup truck also burned in the fire.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
