WASHOE COUNTY, NV. (THECOUNT) — (THECOUNT) — Actor Jeremy Renner is in critical condition following injuries suffered while plowing snow using a Snowcat groomer Sunday in Washoe County, Nevada.
Renner’s spokesperson confirmed the concerning news on Sunday saying his client is in “critical but stable condition.”
The exact location of the incident was not disclosed.
A video obtained by TMZ shows the moments right after the two-time Oscar-nominee was loaded on to the chopper Sunday around 9:50 a.m.
Jeremy was plowing the road about a quarter mile from his Tahoe home so his family could get out after a massive New Year’s eve storm.
According to a neighbor, the plowing machine — called a SnowCat or Sno-Cat — accidentally ran over one of Jeremy’s legs, and he was losing a lot of blood from the injury. Another neighbor, who’s a doctor, was able to put a tourniquet on his leg until paramedics arrived.
A source close to Jeremy said his injuries are “extensive” — along with his leg, other parts of his body have been injured
Renner Kingstown will begin airing January15 on par+. Created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon. Produced by 101 Studios, Bosque Ranch Productions and MTV Entertainment Studios and Paramount Network for Paramount+.
