BUFFALO, NY. (THECOUNT) — Damar Hamlin is in critical condition and is reportedly being “intubated” – meaning a tube was placed down his throat to assist him breath. He was transported to Cincinnati hospital in critical condition after an early-game tackle in Monday Night Football game against the Bengals.
Hamlin, 24, fell to his back after making a tackle on Cincinnati’s Tee Higgins with 5:58 remaining in the first quarter. During the scarly incident, medical personnel appeared to administer CPR to Hamlin before an ambulance was brought on-field.

First responders “frantically” administered CPR for “many minutes,” according to announcer Joe Buck.
Jordan Rooney, Hamlin’s marketing rep posted to Twitter that Hamlin’s vitals are “back to normal” and that he has been intubated:

His vitals are back to normal and they have put him to sleep to put a breathing tube down his throat. They are currently running tests.
