HAMPTON, VA. (THECOUNT) — Keith Alexander Norman, of Hampton, Virginia, has been identified as the victim in a Friday morning fatal vehicle crash in Hampton.

Norman, 42, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Hampton early Friday morning.

According to reports, Norman was operating a Honda sedan on Interstate 64 near Hampton Roads Center Parkway, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 2:15 a.m. Friday. The vehicle then came into contact with a jersey wall before crossing all lanes and traveling into a wooded area. The vehicle then collided with a grouping of trees.

Norman, who was ejected from the vehicle during the wreck, was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
