ERIE COUNTY, NY. (THECOUNT) — GoFundMe For Anndel Taylor: Anndel Taylor has been identified as the young woman who died after becoming trapped in her vehicle during the massive snowstorm in Erie County, New York over the weekend.

Taylor, 22, was driving home from work in Buffalo when she got caught in the winter storm over the weekend. Taylor may have died of carbon monoxide poisoning when the vehicle’s exhaust pipe was blocked by snow, according to her mother.

Taylor contacted 911, however, rescuers were unable to reach her for more than 18 hours. She was later located deceased in her car.

A official with the Buffalo Fire Department said this was the first time in the agency’s history that conditions got too severe for emergency crews to respond.

A GoFundMe has been started to help out with funeral expenses.

As you all may know one of my daughters, our sister, your friend, has passed away by accident in a blizzard that occurred in Buffalo NY December 23rd and 24th. She was stuck in her car for hours/days which caused the snow to continue to build up on her car causing her to be unable to get out. We are currently trying to put Services together to say our final goodbyes.

We are truly in need of emotional and financial help to complete the task at hand and with heavy hearts we are reaching out to all of you to assist us.
