COOK COUNTY, IL. (THECOUNT) — 14-year-old Nathan Billegas and 15-year-old Brandon Perez, have been identified as the teens shot dead at Benito Juarez High School in Cook County, Illinois on Friday afternoon.
Billegas and Perez died of gunshot wounds to the head, while two other teens, a girl and a boy, were injured in the Chicago shooting.
According to reports, the teens were standing outside the Pilsen neighborhood high school just after final bell, when a masked gunman opened fire from a vehicle on Friday around 2:45 p.m.
The two injured teen are reportedly in good condition at area hospitals.
Billegas and Perez both died of gunshot injuries.
No suspect or motive information was provided.
