JEFFERSON COUNTY, KY. (THECOUNT) — Gary Charles Edwards Jr., of Louisville, Kentucky, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday fatal shooting in Jefferson County.
Edwards, 21, was fatally shot in Louisville early Thursday morning.
According to reports, officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 800 block of Denmark Street in the Wyandotte neighborhood around 1:30 a.m. Thursday. When they arrived, Edwards was found unresponsive suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Edwards was pronounced dead of gunshot injuries at the scene.
Officials did not provide any suspect or motive information.
