WEBSTER PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Bret Dooly, of Minden, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday fatal vehicle crash in Webster Parish.
Dooly, 24, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Shongaloo Tuesday night.
According to reports, Dooly was operating a Ford F-150 pickup truck on LA-159 near LA-2 in Shongaloo, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 11 p.m. Tuesday. The vehicle then entered a culvert and rolled over.
Dooly was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
