HUNTINGTON COUNTY, IN. (THECOUNT) — Landon Eden and Braydan Noland, both of Anderson, Indiana, have been identified as the victims in a Saturday double-fatal vehicle crash in Huntington County.
Eden, 16, and 15-year-old Noland, were both killed in a vehicle crash involving a grain tractor-trailer Saturday morning Jefferson Township.
According to reports, Vincent Spear, 19, of Anderson, was operating a vehicle on S 300 W near W 600 S/IN-124 in Huntington, when the vehicle failed to stop at a posted stop sign Saturday morning around 8 a.m. The vehicle then came into contact with a commercial grain trailer. The force of the crash caused the grain truck to separate from the trailer and spill its load.
Spear and his 17-year-old passenger Ethan Noland were flown to area hospitals with life-threatening injuries.
Eden and Braydan Noland were both pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
