GAINES COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Lorena Paz Alvarez, of Denver City, Texas, has been identified as the victim in a Friday night fatal vehicle crash in Gaines County.
Alvarez, 32, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Denver City Friday night.
According to reports, Alvarez was operating a vehicle on Ranch Road 2055 near Denver City, when the vehicle exited the roadway and entered a culvert around 7:30 p.m. Friday. The vehicle then rolled over.
Alvarez, who was ejected from the vehicle during the crash, was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
