ALFALFA COUNTY, OK. (THECOUNT) — Michael Hasten, of Woodward, Oklahoma, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday fatal vehicle crash in Alfalfa County.
Hasten, 35, an Oklahoma Correctional Officer, was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Helena Tuesday night.
According to reports, Hasten was operating a vehicle on OK-45 near CR-650 in Helena, when a Chevy Suburban came into contact with the vehicle around 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Hasten was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
The condition of the other involved driver was not provided by officials.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
