OAKLAND COUNTY, MI. (THECOUNT) — Sarah Ratliff, of Davison, Missouri, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in Oakland County Saturday.

Ratliff, 30, was killed following a hit-and-run collision in Rochester Hills early Saturday morning.

According to reports, Ratliff was traveling as a passenger in a vehicle on M-59 near South Adams Road in Rochester Hills, when a backseat passenger, a 41-year-old Metamora man, attempted to choke the driver, a 31-year-old Otter Lake man.

The driver was able to pull over and exit the vehicle along with Ratliff.

Moments later, Ratliff was struck by a passing vehicle that then fled the scene.

Police say they are searching for an Audi Q7. The Audi of unknown color is believed to be model year 2017-2019.

The backseat passenger, who identified himself as Ratliff’s boyfriend, was arrested and is expected to be arraigned on a felonious assault charge on Monday.
