LAFAYETTE PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Theophilus A. Rose, of Lafayette, Louisiana, has been identified as the suspect arrested in an October fatal hit-and-run of Duson man, Ronald Keith Williams Jr.
Williams, 43, was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver in Lafayette October 17.
According to reports, Williams was on-foot on the side of the roadway in the 5100 block of West Congress when he was struck by a vehicle operated by Rose. Rose then fled the scene leaving Williams injured on the roadway.
Theo Rose, 22, has been charged felony leaving the scene of a fatal crash that occurred on West Congress Street in Lafayette. Thursday Rose surrendered himself at the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center where he was booked on an outstanding warrant.
Rose was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.
His bond is $25K.
