KENTON COUNTY, KY. (THECOUNT) — Martha Arlinghaus, of Villa Hills, Kentucky, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday morning wrong-way crash in Kenton County.
Arlinghaus, 83, was killed in a wrong-way crash that injured two others in Fort Wright Sunday morning.
According to reports, Arlinghaus was operating a vehicle on Interstate 75 near Kyles Lanes in Fort Wright, when the vehicle came into head-on contact with another vehicle traveling the wrong-way around 7 a.m. Sunday.
The driver of the wrong-way vehicle was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The passenger suffered minor injuries and was released from the hospital.
Arlinghaus died of injuries suffered in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
