WALKER COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Edwin Oliver Mayes, of Huntsville, Alabama, has been identified as the suspect in a Wednesday fatal shooting in Walker County. Kyle David Mackey, of Huntsville, Alabama, has been identified as the victim.
Mayes, 34, was arrested and charged Wednesday in the murder of 44-year-old Kyle ‘icdat’ Mackey in Huntsville.
According to reports, a verbal dispute led to the fatal shooting which occurred on Pulaski Pike Northwest near Vogel Drive Northwest in around 2 p.m. Wednesday.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
