MONROE COUNTY, IA. (THECOUNT) — Cody Christopher Kosman, of Albia, Iowa, has been identified as the victim in a Friday fatal vehicle crash in Monroe County.
Kosman, 22, was killed in a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Albia.
According to reports, Jonathan Michael Bedell, of Leon, Iowa, was operating a vehicle on the 1300 block of 655th Avenue in Albia, when the vehicle came into contact with a vehicle, operated by Kosman around 2:45 p.m. Friday.
Bedell was transported to an area hospital in serious condition.
Kosman was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
