CRAWFORD COUNTY, PA. (THECOUNT) — Brian Lavern Horst, of Cochranton, Pennsylvania, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday fatal motorcycle crash in Crawford County.
Horst, 27, was killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash in Fairfield Township late Tuesday afternoon.
According to reports, Horst was operating a Yamaha R1 motorcycle on State Highway 285 near Cochranton, when the bike came into head-on contact with a pickup truck around 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Horst was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
It is unknown if the pickup driver suffered any injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
