PENOBSCOT COUNTY, ME. (THECOUNT) — Joseph Wadman, of Ellsworth, Maine, has been identified as the victim in a Monday morning fatal two-vehicle crash in Penobscot County.
Wadman, 62, was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Holden Monday morning.
According to reports, Wadman was operating a vehicle on Route 1A near Leeds Way in Holden, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 9:20 a.m. Monday. The vehicle then came into contact with another vehicle.
Wadman died of injuries suffered in the crash.
The other involved driver was uninjured in the wreck.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
