TRAVIS COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — David Ponce, of Manor, Texas, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in Travis County Wednesday night.
Ponce, 38, was killed after he was struck by a vehicle that then fled the scene in Manor Wednesday.
According to reports, Ponce was on-foot in the area of 100 North Lexington Street in Manor, when he was struck by a vehicle Wednesday night. The vehicle then left the scene leaving Ponce injured in the street.
Ponce was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
Officials are seeking to speak with drivers that were in the area around the time the incident occurred.
