CROW WING COUNTY, MN. (THECOUNT) — Nicolas James Engen, of Blaine, Minnesota, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday fatal vehicle crash in Crow Wing County.
Nick Engen, 26, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Mission Township Wednesday afternoon.
According to reports, Engen was operating a vehicle on MN-371 near West Twin Lake Drive near Brainerd, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 3:20 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle then entered a culvert before rolling over into West Twin Lake.
Engen was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
