DOUGLAS COUNTY, NE. (THECOUNT) — Joseph M. Zadina Jr., of Omaha, Nebraska, has been identified as the victim in a Monday night fatal motorcycle crash in Douglas County.
Joe Zadina, 30, was killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash in Omaha Monday night.
According to reports, Zadina was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle on North Saddle Creek Road near Hamilton Street, when a Jeep Wrangler operated by Miguel Penaloza, 35, of Omaha, turned left into the path of the Harley around 7:30 p.m. Monday.
Zadina was transported to an area hospital where he later died of injuries suffered in the crash.
Police say charges are pending against Penaloza.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
