MN Woman Susan Quiram ID’d As Victim In Thursday Night Mapleton Fatal DUI UTV Crash ‘Arrest Made’

BLUE EARTH COUNTY, MN. (THECOUNT) — Susan Marie Quiram, of Elysian, Minnesota, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday night fatal UTV crash in Blue Earth County.

Sue Quiram, 59, was killed while riding as a passenger on a UVT late Thursday night near Mapleton.

According to reports, Quiram was traveling as a passenger on a Kawasaki UTV operated by a 51-year-old man, when the vehicle exited County Road 7 near 105th Street and wrecked around 11:40 p.m. Thursday. The vehicle then landed on top on Quiram.

The operator of the vehicle was arrested for criminal vehicular homicide and was taken to jail pending possible charges from the Blue Earth County Attorney’s Office, according to the news release.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
