DELAWARE COUNTY, OK. (THECOUNT) — Ronald Hogshooter and Shelby Blackfox, have been identified as the victims found dead near a vehicle crash in Delaware County, Oklahoma on Tuesday.
Ron Hogshooter, 46, and 22-year-old Blackfox, were both found dead by a child following an apparent single-vehicle crash near Disney on Tuesday night.
According to reports, Hogshooter was operating a Chevrolet Silverado on State Highway 28 near Disney, Oklahoma, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle wrecked. Their bodies were discovered by a child ejected from the vehicle around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, say officials who believe the accident occurred Monday night sometime between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
According to public records, Hogshooter lived in Frederick, Oklahoma. He held a Post Office box in Fort Apache, Arizona. In the past, he resided in Missouri. According to local reports, Blackfox lived in Oklahoma City, but records show she lived in Jay, Oklahoma.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
