JOHNSON COUNTY, KS. (THECOUNT) — John W. Couch, of De Soto, Kansas, has been identified as the victim in an overnight fatal vehicle crash in Johnson County.
Couch, 56, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in De Soto early Wednesday morning.
According to reports, Couch was operating a vehicle in the 9800 block of Lexington Avenue in De Soto, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle exited the roadway around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday. The vehicle then came into contact with a guardrail and rolled over.
Couch was pronounced dead of injuries suffered in the wreck.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
