HARTFORD COUNTY, CT. (THECOUNT) — Jose Arriaga, of Hartford, Connecticut, has been identified as the victim in a Tuesday fatal shooting in Hartford County.
Arriaga, 28, was found shot inside a vehicle following a crash in Hartford early Tuesday morning.
According to reports, police responded to a call of shots fired in the 300 block of Hillside Avenue near Flatbush Avenue in Hartford around 1 a.m. Tuesday. On the way to that call, officers received another call of a vehicle crash down the street. When officers arrived at the crash scene, Arriaga was found inside the crashed vehicle while suffering from apparent gunshot injuries.
Arriaga was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.
