MIDDLESEX COUNTY, MA. (THECOUNT) — Steven Michaud, of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, has been identified as the victim in a fatal vehicle crash in Middlesex County Friday afternoon.
Michaud, 60, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Boxborough late Friday afternoon.
According to reports, Michaud was operating an Audi A6 on Interstate 495 in Boxborough, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 4:30 p.m. Friday. The vehicle then came into contact with a grouping of trees.
Michaud was transported via LifeFlight to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
