OSAGE COUNTY, MO. (THCOUNT) — Tyler Elliott, 29, of Louisville, Kentucky has been identified as the body pulled from Missouri Lake of the Ozarks on Monday.
The body of Elliott, who went missing while swimming near Party Cove in Osage County, was recovered Monday after he went missing Saturday while swimming at the popular spot.
Troopers responded Saturday to the four-mile mark of the Grand Glaize Arm in Anderson Hollow cove on reports of a drowning. Investigators say Elliott exited a boat to go swimming but never resurfaced.
The cause of the death remains under investigation.
